Backstreet's Back!

I have to say that Jesse and I often compete with our presents to each other. We both try to find the one gift that will take the other's breath away and this year for my birthday he gave me a gift that I will never forget. I have loved the Backstreet Boys for as long as I can remember. I know every word to every song but my one regret was never seeing them in person. My wonderful husband remedied that for me with 2 tickets to their concert. I don't have words for the concert itself except that it was a dream come true.

Tubing

I am so glad it's summer. To celebrate, Sarah, a friend from work, took Jesse and I out on her dad's boat. We went to Lake Jordan and spent the whole day swimming and tubing, a new experience for me.

It was awesome but what a workout for the arms!

Relaxing in Savannah

To celebrate our two year anniversary, we traveled to the romantic city of Savannah. It was so hot but we had an incredible time. It's a beautiful city rich in history.
On top of Fort Jackson which is a very well preserved fort and would have been perfect were in not for the 100's of bees who occupied its grounds.

Bonadventure Cemetary was also beautiful and peaceful. The Spanish Moss made everything seem magical.

It was a fantastic vacation and I can't wait to go back, hopefully when it's cooler.

Chapter 1

Once upon a time there was a little boy...
Charismatic and optimistic he had no idea that there was a little girl born only a few hours away.
God smiled on them both and in the summer of '06, they met and fell in love. It wasn't long until she put flowers in her hair and he memorized his vows.
And they lived happily ever after

A fairy tale? Yes. Perfect? Not always, but it gets better every day. We wanted to share our journey with our family and friends.

Jesse and I hope you enjoy our story.
